Moments after a thug from Oregon got sentenced to 30 years behind bars for shooting a cop, he decided to take the opportunity to speak his mind. However, as soon as he muttered three sick words, the judge instantly wiped the smug grin off of his face.

Jeffrey Giddings has recently been sentenced to 30 years in prison after he shot Gladstone Sergeant Lee Jundt in the arm and held two innocent people hostage. After apologizing to one of his victims, he thanked his attorney and turned to the officer whom he shot and told him that he wasn’t a coward.

Although he didn’t show any remorse for his actions, what he uttered next left everyone in the court jaw-dropped with just three sick words. While making his final statement, Giddings looked directly into the camera and stated, “And to the rest of law enforcement, f*ck the police. Thank you. That’s all I have to say.”

Thankfully, Judge Jeffrey Jones wasn’t going to allow the disrespect in his courtroom and immediately stepped in and held Giddings in contempt. This announcement instantly wiped the smug grin off the thug’s face. He “sentenced him to an additional 30 days in jail, to be served before he starts his prison sentence,” according to Blue Lives Matter.

When Sergeant Jundt was given an opportunity to speak in court, he admitted that he forgave Giddings for his actions, but he will never forget what happened. As tears were streaming down his face, there wasn’t a single person in the room who didn’t feel the heartbreak in Jundt’s statement. Despite everything that happened as a result of Gidding’s cruel actions, Jundt believes God spared his life.

Most people show a little remorse and respect when they’re in front of a judge for their criminal behavior. However, Giddings clearly thought he was free and clear from further charges, considering that he had already been given a 30-year prison sentence for his crimes.

Thankfully, the judge decided to teach the thug one final lesson, as well as anyone else who dared to disrespect officers in his courtroom, and added additional time to his sentence. These are the kind of judges we need in our country – one’s who aren’t afraid to put a low-life criminal in his place.
